Korean makeup is best known for glowing, almost perfect glass skin (or the pursuit of it). Learn more glass skin and K-beauty makeup.

In addition to glass skin, Koreans prefer aegyosal as well as softly over-bounded cherry lips - make-up. Aegyo-sal refers to the small, chubby part of the lower eyelid, which by emphasizing it creates a youthful, eye-enlarging and brightening effect. Cherry lips make-up favors a soft overlining of the lips, which creates fullness on the lips.

Makeup removal

For makeup removal, it is recommended to use an oil-based cleanser, as it easily remove not only waterproof mascara but also sunscreen and, of course, makeup.

Koreans favor double cleansing, where makeup is first removed with a cleansing oil or balm, followed by a second cleanse using a water-based cleanser suitable for your skin type.
